Middle School Students of the Month

  1. March Students of the Month
  2. 6th Grade

    Jonathan Barber - This student is a class favorite.  Everyone enjoys his company.  He loves Science and Social Studies.  He can name every state and capital.  He can sometimes be silly.  He is friendly and kind and loves to make us laugh.  He enjoys taking things apart and analyzing them.  He IS the next Bill Nye the Science Guy!!!! Our SOM is……..Jonathan Barber!

    Charlotte Jordan - This student approaches all work with her best effort. She comes to class with a ready-to-learn mindset, and this has led to great success all year. She doesn’t run away from mistakes or difficult work–she tackles these things head on as opportunities for growth. Beyond the positive mindset this student brings to her academics, she also treats others with kindness and respect. She is always looking for ways to make her classroom a better place. This kind of responsibility, integrity and solid character makes her a great role model for peers. Congrats to Charlotte J!

    7th Grade

  3. Emma Heinstrom - This student has shown lots of perseverance and dedication all month to be her best version of self. She has made great improvement in class participation and engagement in all of her classes. She is helpful with her peers and cares for everyone around her. This student makes sure to say hi and bye before she leaves the classroom and will always help put up chairs at the end of the day to help out! Congratulations to Emma Heinstrom!

    Brenna Montmarquet - This award goes to an enthusiastic student who always pushes through challenges to produce her best work. She is always eager to seek help and feedback, and her face always lights up when she does well. She is sociable and fun-loving, in a way that is energizing to her classmates and really lifts up the vibe of the whole room. She is clever and thorough, and never hesitates to seek assistance when needed. Thanks for all the hard work, Brenna!
    8th Grade
    Leighton Fish - Over the past 7 months I am not sure there is a student that has grown as much as this one. Over the last two years this student has become more confident in his work, more of a voice inside the classroom, and is always looking for ways to improve his understanding of the material. His hard work and dedication towards improving has made him an easy choice for our March student of the month, and he has shown he is ready for the transition to high school. Congratulations to Leighton Fish!

    Callie Gauthier - This student has shown growth in all of her classes, as well as commitment to her studies. This student consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and a positive attitude toward learning. She goes above and beyond to help classmates and contribute meaningfully to the classroom environment. Their dedication, kindness, and commitment to excellence make them a truly deserving choice for Student of the Month. Congratulations Callie! 


  4. February Students of the Month

  5. 6th Grade
    Teagan White - This student is thoughtful and detail oriented in all the work she completes. She doesn’t back down from a challenge, and she’s always looking for ways to make her work even stronger. Every day, she quietly demonstrates what it means to give your best effort to be successful. This in itself is a great model for peers to follow. But her constant kindness is even more powerful. She is supportive of others and always willing to help. Thank you for making our classrooms a brighter place! Congratulations to our student of the month, Teagan White!
     

    Sage Trudeau - This student is ALWAYS doing his best.  He comes to class ready to learn and thoroughly completes all assignments.  Although he usually finishes assignments quickly, his work is done with impeccable accuracy.  All homework is consistently completed on time.  He is well liked by his peers and is an all around great person.  He is truly a positive role model.  His class participation is spot on and has so much to offer during classroom discussions and lessons.  He is becoming a world traveler too.  This student loves to travel and recently took another amazing trip to Italy!  Congratulazioni to our student of the month, Sage Trudeau!

    7th Grade
    Vita Rizzuto - This award goes to an industrious and enthusiastic student who always puts her best foot forward. She is a hard working student who is always excited to share her work and receive feedback. She consistently produces high quality work and is always engaged in class. She is a polite and good-natured student who gets along with her peers. The 7th grade team is proud to offer this month’s award to Vita Rizzuto. We can’t wait to see how far you’ll go!


    Sophia Toledo - This award goes to a student who tends to be quiet but still shines in all of her classes. Her actions speak loudly through her dedication and determination. She has shown improvement in her effort and motivation and continues to give her full potential. Everyday, she comes to class prepared and eager to learn and makes sure she stays focused in order to show her best version of self. We would like to congratulate Sophia Toledo as our student of the month!

    8th Grade
    Caroline Siekman - This month we are proud to recognize a student who truly embodies hard work, dedication, and a commitment to improvement. This student consistently gives her best effort in the classroom and is always looking for ways to grow, whether that means asking thoughtful questions, revising work, or taking on new challenges. She is also a well-known and respected face in the community, known for her positive attitude, kindness, and willingness to support those around her. Outside of school, this student has a strong passion for hockey and can often be found on the ice doing what she loves. Her work ethic, determination, and community presence makes her  a wonderful representative of our school. Congratulations Caroline on being named our February Student of the Month!


     Matt Caragher- This student consistently challenges himself and demonstrates a strong commitment to growth in the classroom. He approaches difficult tasks with determination and does not give up when faced with challenges. Recently, he has shown impressive consistency in his effort and work ethic, setting a great example for those around him. As a natural leader, he encourages his peers to push themselves and helps create a positive and supportive classroom environment. His leadership and teamwork extend beyond the classroom as well, where he stays actively involved in soccer, skiing, unified basketball, and baseball. 

January Students of the Month

6th Grade

Ivan Philbrick - This month’s SOM is a hard worker.  He ALWAYS does his Math homework and works diligently on ALL classwork.  He received a perfect 100% A+ in math in Quarter 2.  This student is quiet yet very funny.  You can find him drawing amazing things most of the time.  He loves to mountain bike and ski!  He is a role model for everyone!  January’s 6th grade SOM is:  Ivan Philbrick!


 Sawyer MacFadzen - This student approaches every assignment with detail and dedication. She takes her time to ensure assignments are completed correctly and to the best of her ability. Not only this, but she is always willing to lend a hand to support her peers as well. Her approach to academics sets a great example for others, and it has set her on a great path for the start of 6th grade as well. Keep up the amazing work! Congrats to our student of the month, Sawyer MacFadzen.


7th Grade
Isabella Green - This award goes to a student who has made a monumental effort to improve both their work and their presence in the classroom. She has made a lot of progress both in getting her work in on time and on the quality of that work. She asks questions and checks in more frequently with her teachers, and her enthusiasm has grown considerably. Thank you for all the hard work. This month’s student of the month goes to Isabella Green!

 
Ashley Mitchell - This student is hardworking and is talented. When in class, she is motivated and engaged in discussion. She is reliable and honest, and she gets along well with her peers. Not only that, but she is one of the first to participate, even in challenging topics. This month’s student of the month award goes to Ashley Mitchell


8th Grade
Avery Niquette - This month’s Student of the Month is a kind, helpful, and hardworking student who is well-liked by her peers and consistently contributes positively to a classroom community. She takes pride in producing thoughtful, high-quality work and always gives her best effort. In addition, she shows dedication and teamwork as a member of the basketball team. She is a great role model, and we are proud to recognize her achievements. Congratulations Avery!


Ben Hamilton - This student consistently demonstrates what it means to be a true leader in and out of the classroom. He is an extremely hard-working student who takes pride in his learning and always gives his best effort. Beyond his strong work ethic, he is always willing to help others, whether it’s offering academic support or simply being there to encourage a classmate who may be having a tough day. His positive attitude, willingness to lend a hand, and genuine care for others make him a role model within our school community. He leads by example, showing integrity, compassion, and responsibility every day. We are proud to recognize Ben Hamilton as our Student of the Month for January.


December Students of the Month

6th Grade

Kenneth Parker-Maddox - Kenneth is hardworking and dedicated to doing the best he can on every assignment. He is curious, asks questions, and is eager to learn! Not only this, but he is always willing to support the learning of his peers as well. All of these traits have helped him be successful throughout 6th grade so far, and we can’t wait to see the wonderful things he does next!

Elaina Cestarich - This student of the month is very conscientious and works very diligently on ALL assignments.  She is quiet but spunky and isn’t afraid to ask questions for clarification.  She is always properly prepared for class each and every day.  She is also a very good friend and an excellent role model for being a good person.  We cannot wait to see what she can do next!  Please congratulate:  Elaina Cestarich.

7th Grade

Harper Perrine - This month’s Student of the Month is a 7th grader who brings great energy and humor to our classroom every day. She has a positive attitude that helps create a fun and welcoming learning environment, and her sense of humor often brings smiles and laughter to those around her. She works well with others, and isn’t afraid to be herself. Her enthusiasm and upbeat personality make our classroom a better place, and we are proud to recognize her as Student of the Month. Congratulations to Harper Perrine!

Weston Radloff - The 7th grade team would like to acknowledge a multi-talented student who works hard to be his best self, whether it’s academics, sports, or music. He has a strong work ethic, an honest nature, and awesome taste in music. He is always studious and hardworking - of course he is, because mom is a teacher! The 7th grade team is pleased to give this award to Weston Radloff.

8th Grade
Julianna O’Brien - This student is a truly creative thinker who brings originality and imagination to everything they do. She consistently approaches assignments with fresh ideas and a unique perspective, which shows specifically in her writing. Congratulations to Julie on earning Student of the Month, well deserved!

Colby Kenney - This student consistently produces high-quality work and goes above and beyond by working on assignments at home. He is thorough, intentional, and meticulous - specifically with his Science and Social Studies projects. He is always willing to help others, including stepping up and assisting Mrs. Bujak while she was subbing by explaining math concepts to the class. Beyond the classroom, he pursues a variety of interests, including hunting, skiing, and playing on the middle school basketball team.With that, the 8th grade teachers are excited to have Colby Kenney as December student of the month.


November Students of the Month

6th Grade
Axle McCaffrey - This student is creative, kind and a wonderful member of our 6th grade team. He is always eager to lend a hand if he notices something that could be fixed up around the classroom–whether that be erasing the board or emptying the pencil sharpener. His class participation is also a great strength, and it helps further both his own learning, and the learning of his peers. Overall, this student’s character and dedication to learning help make our classroom a more wonderful place. We are excited to congratulate this student of the month, Axle McCaffrey!

Kendra Andon - This student’s enthusiasm for learning brightens our classroom every day. She puts her best effort into every piece of work she turns in, and she cares deeply about understanding things better. Her class participation is also off the charts, both in her willingness to ask and answer questions. She is curious, kind, and thinks outside the box. Above all, she is an all around wonderful student and human being who has taken the 6th grade by storm! Congratulations to Kendra Andon!

7th Grade
Carly Robichaud - Our first student of the month goes to a kind-hearted, goofy and motivated individual. She tries her best every day and brings a great energy into the classrooms. Her leadership, care for others, and strong character makes her a great role model for her peers. Academically, she thrives in each class and is always ready to meet new challenges. We are proud to congratulate our student of the month, Carly Robichaud!
Jakob Chin - This bright, cheerful student is always curious and always puts his best foot forward. He works hard, asks excellent questions, and always tries to make sure he has a clear understanding of the material. He is creative in his work and always has a great attitude. He’s respectful to adults while showing excellent self-advocacy skills, and his great sense of humor shines through every day. The 7th grade team is pleased to award Jakob Chin student of the month!

8th Grade
Isaac Kramer - This 8th grade student is an extremely hard working student who brings his sense of humor to the classroom .He is a student athlete who puts in consistent effort in the classroom as well as on the basketball court. He avidly follows football outside of school. He regularly comes to class prepared and ready to learn. He is consistently pushing himself to be his absolute best in the classroom and holds himself to the highest standards.. The 8th Grade team is excited to name our November Student of the Month as Isaac Kramer!

Gabby Abasciano - The 8th grade team would like to recognize this student for her hard work and effort across the four classes. She has an awesome work ethic, and is someone who is always looking for ways to improve her assignments. She is a very creative, kind, and helpful peer to her teachers and classmates. The 8th grade teachers would like to recognize Gabby Abasciano!


October Students of the Month

6th Grade

  • Presley Renshaw - This student is kind, hardworking, and positive. Her fun attitude brightens the classroom, and makes her peers smile every day. Beyond this, she takes her academics seriously, and puts forth her best effort to be successful in every subject. She asks questions that deepen her understanding, and her participation in class is a great strength as well. This 6th grader sets a wonderful example for her peers, and we can’t wait to see all the awesome things she continues to do this year. Congratulations to our student of the month, Presley Renshaw. 

  • Levi Forbus - This student is always looking for ways to grow and improve. They are curious about class material, and conscientious in the work they produce. They take challenges and turn them into opportunities for growth. Additionally, their willingness to support peers makes our learning environment even better. Thank you for putting your best foot forward in everything you do–both academically, and in how you treat those around you! You are kind, positive, and all around awesome! We are proud to congratulate our student of the month, Levi Forbus!

7th Grade

  •  Declan DuBreuil - This student always comes to class prepared and eager to learn. He works well with others and presents his best version of self in every class. His humor is on point and he always has a positive attitude. We have also noticed him coming out of his shell and stepping out of his comfort zone to succeed. Congratulations to Declan DuBreuil!

  •  Eli Mogavero - This student has worked hard all school year and is always ready to lend a helping hand. She participates in every class and asks appropriate questions to ensure full understanding. The work she submits is to her full capability and gives her best effort. She displays great integrity for herself and her peers. This student of the month is Eli Mogavero. 

8th Grade

  •  Mason Laurencelle - This month, we are proud to recognize this 8th grader as our Student of the Month! He stands out amongst his peers for his creativity, hard working demeanor, and positive attitude.This student has a wonderful talent for writing, his stories and ideas always show imagination, depth, and a unique voice. Whether crafting an essay, or creating a political cartoon, this student brings his words, ideas, and history to life through his work. Congratulations to Mason Larencelle, 8th grade October Student of the Month 

  • Paisley Silva - This student has been selected as our Student of the Month for her outstanding dedication, hard work, and drive to succeed. She is an exceptionally bright student who consistently challenges herself to go above and beyond in everything she does. Her competitive spirit pushes her to excel both in and out of the classroom. Whether she’s tackling a difficult assignment or training for her next swim meet, she gives 100% effort and never settles for less than her best. Her passion for learning and her commitment to excellence make her a true role model for her peers. In addition to her academic success, she channels her determination into competitive swimming. We’re proud to recognize Paisley Silva for her remarkable achievements and positive example to others.


September Students of the Month

6th Grade

Andrew Hare - This student comes to class ready to learn every single day. He gives 110% in everything he does, and tackles academic challenges without complaint. His class participation is stellar in both his willingness to ask and answer questions. But above all, this student is endlessly kind and positive. He lights up the classroom simply by being his best version of self, and has started 6th grade on a great foot. Congratulations to Andrew Hare as our student of the month!
Hannah Gill -  This student comes to school every day with a smile on her face and is greeted by other students who are always happy to see her.  She is an excellent friend to others and is so very caring about those around her.  She is very mature and always seems to be the best version of herself, every day and all day.  Her academics are stellar.  She puts in 100% effort in all her studies.  The work she does in her classes is excellent.  She is an excellent role model and we are thankful she is a part of our school family.  Congratulations to Hannah Gill as our student of the month.  

7th Grade
 Bentley Sherman - This student is caring, positive, and has shown impeccable growth in effort and academics this year. He displays great leadership skills and you always know you can go to him if you need a good laugh. He brings an energetic and helpful energy in the classroom and to his peers. The first 7th grade student of the month is Bentley Sherman!
 Avery Kimball - This student consistently treats others with kindness and is a bright individual in and outside of the classroom. Her thoughtful actions and polite demeanor set a strong example for her peers. She consistently is engaged in class and ensures that her work is always turned in on time and to her full capability. This month’s outstanding student is Avery Kimball.

8th Grade

Owen Lassor - The 8th grade team would like to recognize this student for his participation and dedication to his school work. This month we have noticed he has stepped up to the plate and is embracing the rigor of 8th grade classes and expectations that come with it. He uses his time wisely, making sure to diligently and meticulously complete his assignments and asks important questions that help him to better understand the content. He is always one of the first kids to raise his hand to participate in class and adds a positive dynamic to the class. The 8th grade team is happy to have Owen Lassor as their September Student of the Month.
Abby Hall - The student of the month award goes to a student who has shown lots of growth, not just academically or athletically, but as a person. This student has stepped up her game in the classroom by contributing more during discussions and consistently completing her work on time. Beyond academics, she has shown real teamwork by stepping in to help our girls soccer team when they needed extra players, demonstrating her commitment and school spirit. She loves playing softball competitively and her drive shows true leadership qualities. Her upbeat, chatty, and positive personality brightens the classroom every day, making her a valued part of our school community. We are very happy to recognize Abby Hall as our student of the month.
