The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation Scholarship
The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation is now accepting applications for student aid for the 2025 – 2026 academic year.

You may already be aware that there is a very large scholarship fund available to our students – the Winthrop L. and Bernice Blake Perry Scholarship Fund. This fund makes multi-year awards of significant size to students who currently live in Wilton, Lyndeborough, or Milford and have resided there for at least two years. Recipients are chosen based on their excellent character, academic performance, talent, ambition, and financial need. Students must live in Wilton, Lyndeborough, or Milford to be eligible for this fund. Finalists for the Perry scholarship will be required to attend an in-person interview with the selection committee during the morning of Saturday, April 12 in Milford. To access the Charitable Foundation’s online scholarship application, students can visit www.nhcf.org, click “Login” and then select “ScholarshipSource.”

This year’s deadlines are:

  • March 2nd  at 5:00 pm ET: Winthrop L. and Bernice Blake Perry Scholarship Fund
  • April 10th at 5:00 pm ET: 4-year degree candidates under age 24

If any students miss the March 2nd Perry deadline, they are still encouraged to apply by the April 10th deadline. The Perry is only one of their 500+ scholarship funds. The Charitable Foundation has many resources for students beyond the Perry Scholarship Fund. Students pursuing all types of education after high school should be encouraged to apply, including 2-year students as well as certificate and other non-degree students. Applications from 2-year students as well as certificate and other non-degree students are accepted on a rolling deadline. Charitable Foundation staff will respond to 2-year and non-degree students within 4-6 weeks of application submission. We hope that you will make a special effort to apply for these opportunities.

For more information about the scholarship resources beyond the Perry fund, please visit our website or our FAQ page.

Milford Rotary Scholarship
Please adhere to the instructions and deadlines provided from Milford Rotary

DEADLINE: The submission deadline is April 1 (firm) for all 3 schools in order to help us set a more proportionate budget and allocation of awards.  Having multiple deadlines means we cannot be sure if we are allocating to all towns fairly.  Rest assured, each school's applicants will be scored by school, not against the whole pool.  The scholarships are open to graduating seniors who are enrolled in or are eligible to enroll in your districts.  We expect each award to be a minimum of $1000 each.  Last year's winners received $3000 each.

REQUEST: The applications are fillable PDF's.  Handwritten answers continue to be difficult to read.  The application requirements and materials are outlined at the top of the applications.  Stick with the application questions please. Our committee is built of volunteers, the majority of whom work, so please help us streamline the reading process by making sure your application is complete.

When applications are complete, please email the application packages to the addresses outlined at the bottom of the application (see below).  Only completed applications will be considered.
